Highbury is similar in grandeur to Canonbury. It, too, has a stock of large Victorian villas (in many cases semi or even fully detached). However, Highbury also has a villagey feel to it thanks to Highbury Barn, the street and row of shops which runs through its middle. These shops include the highly regarded butcher, Frank Godfrey and the cheese shop, La Fromagerie.
Highbury also includes Islington's largest green space in Highbury Fields. This offers a swimming pool, tennis courts and hard surface football pitches and also plenty of space for quiet reflection.
One other major claim to fame that Highbury has is, of course, being the home, and new home, to Arsenal, a world class club!
